DESCRIPTION:

A windmill is a machine that converts the energy of wind into rotational energy by means of vanes called sails.Originally, windmills were developed for milling grain for food production. They also produce electricity to make things work, but the windmill has to be moved. For a example you have to generate it by wind so the wind will move the blades in the windmill to pass electricity. In the course of history, the windmill machinery was adapted to many other industrial uses.



WORKING:

Here we are using small dynamo(1.5volts to 4.5volts) for electrical generator that produces direct current with the use of a commutator.Bi-colour led connected with dynamo,Place windmill in a windy area (keeping it securely mounted so it doesn't blow over) or in front of a fan and watch it work.


  • windmill rotate clockwise direction led glow in green colour.
  • windmill rotate anticlockwise direction led glow in red colour.
